Start Your Digital Collection →Whether you have 10 specimens or 10,000, RockHound-GO scales with your collection. The provenance ledger creates a verifiable field-to-vault record that increases buyer confidence when you sell or trade. Rarity scoring, valuation intelligence, and market pricing data help you understand what you have — and what it's worth.
How do I add a specimen to my collection?
Scan any rock or mineral with the AI camera - it's automatically saved to your collection with identification data, GPS coordinates, date, and a confidence score. You can also add specimens manually or import from a CSV file.
Can I track the value of my collection?
Yes. Each identified specimen includes an AI-estimated valuation range based on mineral type, rarity, size, quality, and current market data. Your collection dashboard shows total estimated portfolio value and trends over time.
What is provenance tracking?
Every specimen in RockHound-GO has an immutable provenance ledger - a tamper-evident record of where it was found, when, who found it, AI identification data, photos, and any subsequent events (sold, traded, verified by expert). This increases collector and buyer confidence.
Can I export my collection?
Yes. Pro users can export their full collection to CSV, PDF, or a shareable digital catalog. This is useful for insurance documentation, estate planning, or listing specimens for sale.
Is my collection private?
By default, your collection is private. You can choose to make individual specimens public to share discoveries, list them on the Trade Board, or contribute verified finds to the community map.
